Michael Jackson would have turned 54-year-old if he were alive today.
To celebrate the late musician's birthday, his children Prince, Paris and Blanket honored their father's memory by taking a trip with the Jackson family to his childhood home in Gary, Indiana, according to TMZ.
The three kids along with their aunt La Toya, co-guardians, Katherine Jackson and TJ Jackson were spotted together yesterday in the city where Michael rose from Midwest humble beginnings.
On Aug. 27, Michael’s kids & Co. even found time to have a little fun with a visit to Six Flags Great America.
The music icon will be honored at the annual “Going Back to Indiana” festivities in Gary, which begins Wednesday night with candlelight vigil lead by Gary Major Karen Freeman-Wilson outside of Michael’s home as a child and will be followed by a performance by The Gratitude Project.
The celebrations for the music legend will last until September 1.
Michael’s children are also set to throw the first pitch at a Gary SouthShore RailCats baseball game later this week.
