When Heidi Klum first announced that she had split from husband of seven years Seal, the British singer went on a publicity spree claiming that despite their split the couple still loved each other, but looks like there is a thin line between love and hate as the former husband and wife are said to be locked in a bitter custody battle.
Supermodel Klum has allegedly requested primary custody of their four children after Seal was photographed with a string of beautiful young women.
A source told RadarOnline: "Heidi isn't trying to cause trouble.
“She’s just trying to protect her brood. Since she filed for divorce from Seal, he’s been out with more than one young woman, whereas Heidi hasn’t dated at all.”
Whilst, the singer was spotted sunning himself on a yacht in the Mediterranean with a mystery beauty Heidi has remained single, even admitting that she doubts she will ever re-marry.
The insider explained: “She’s not interested in beginning another relationship right now. Her primary goal is getting the kids through the divorce and making sure they are healthy and happy.”
It isn't just his dating habits that are said to have annoyed the supermodel, Heidi was left fuming after her ex allowed pictures of him and the children to be used in a campaign for a digital camera without her permission.
Referring to the photos a source told RadarOnline: "Heidi felt that the children had gone through enough since their parents split, and she didn’t want their private moments out there for the world to see.
“But Seal maintained he had every right to use his personal photos — and, moreover, that it was a done deal and out of his hands.”
The 49-year-old is said to be requesting joint custody of their brood and is contesting his former wife's claims that they have no joint assets to be divided up.
With differing fortunes, Seal is believed to be worth $15 million with Heidi at $70 million the battle is set to get nasty.
