Uh oh this could get awkward! X Factor judge Tulisa is set to go head to head with her ex boyfriend and bandmate Fazer as he announces his plans for a new BBC talent show!
Former N-Dubz band member turned solo star Fazer has signed up as the face (and name) of new show 'Fazer's Urban Orchestra' according to The Mirror. The show will see the producer and singer search for talent in disadvantaged youths to creatre an urban orchestra who will accompany him on his forthcoming UK tour.
With filming scheduled to start next year, the 25-year-old seems excited by his new venture, telling the Mirror:
“I’ll be looking for really talented players that are underprivileged. From violas, to violins... all the strings, percussion, brass, drums, everything like that."
“I’ll put together people that wouldn’t necessarily get the opportunity to perform in a prestigious place, or even with a full orchestra, and create an urban orchestra which will really set me up for my tour next year.”
Whilst the concept might seem far-fetched, Fazer actually knows his stuff when it comes to orchestral music, he collaborated with the BBC Symphony Orchestra earlier this year:
“When I start my tour, on the first day at the Royal Albert Hall, I’ll be using my orchestra. It’s gonna be something to watch. At the end of the show, I want to be able to say, like in Gladiator: ‘Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained?’”
Whilst Tulisa and Fazer split months ago, Fazer has nothing but love for his ex girlfriend and bandmate, telling the paper that he has plans for a Christmas reunion with her and fellow N-Dubz star Dappy:
“I miss the guys because I’ve been working with them for 14 years. We always go to Dappy’s grandparents’ house. If there’s no family left, there’s nothing.”
We wonder if the reunion will be quite so loved-up once Tul's hears of Fazer's new telly plans....
