Paris Jackson poignantly posted lyrics to 'Smile', one of her father's best loved cover songs today (August 25th).
The 17 year-old is known for her emotional tweets, often discussing her late father Michael Jackon and how much she misses him.
The budding actress tweeted evocative lyrics to her father's cover of the classic ballad 'Smile', picking out the words which clearly mean a lot to her:
"Smile though your heart is breaking , smile even though it's aching".
Alongside the lyrics she posted a photograph of herself holding a drawing of a smiling face in front of her mouth, perhaps suggesting that she is putting on a brave face and getting on with life despite missing her father terribly.
The teenager is growing up fast and is constantly updating her social networking accounts, even joking that she'd love to be able to text while showering. She wrote:
"if i put those clear plastic foodwraps around my phone , can i text in the shower ???" Erm, no.
We miss Michael too!
Michael Jackson through the ages...
Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958. He was the seventh child of nine children to Joseph and Katherine Jackson and was born into a typical working class family. The city of Gary is 25 miles from downtown Chicago and is famous for its massive steel industry. It took its name from the chairman of U.S. Steel, Elbert H Gary, and is nicknamed 'City of Century' – we're hoping for ironic reasons. (Image: WENN.com)
