So we all watched former Eastenders actress Cheryl Fergison become the second housemate to be evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house last night (August 24) and Entertainmentwise caught up with the star this morning, after she left the house.
Cheryl genuinely seemed ok with the fact that she'd been the one to be chosen to leave, over fellow housemates The Situation, Prince Lorenzo, Coleen Nolan and Julian Clary, insisting to us that 'everything happens for a reason'.
The Eastenders star revealed that she was 'happy to be in her own bed' and we can't blame her! When we also asked if there was anything that she would do again differently if she were to re-wind her time in the house and enter again, she replied: "I wouldn't burp so much!"
Aaaah, the charming Cheryl that we know and love... She also added: "Or swear so much! I don't think my sons need to hear that..."
Probably right, Chez.
And a lot of contestants go on to pursue modelling, TV, presenting careers after exciting the house and Cheryl's no different it seems.
Following her exit from the soap earlier this year, we were definitely expecting Cheryl to continue her acting but she has something slightly different in mind...
"I'd quite like a job in Morocco beside my husband. I wore Moroccan shorts in the house as much as possible, so hopefully someone will get the hint and hire me over there!"
Hmmm...standard Hev!
She also added, "And I have panto lined up for the end of the year, which should be fun!"
So we'll definitely be seeing a lot more of the actress very soon. What do you think about last night's shock eviction? Do you think Cheryl should have stayed?
CBB: Week One In Pictures!
Cheryl Ferguson and Julie Goodyear were the first to enter the house, and straight away were given a secret task by Big Brother! The soap actresses had to convince the other housemates they hated each other, with Cheryl telling MC Harvey that Julie had slept with her ex! Clearly their years of acting paid off as they managed to win the task! Wenn.com/Channel 5
