Robert Pattinson and Katy Perry are both experiencing relationship troubles, what with Rob's painful split from Kristen Stewart after her affair with Rupert Sanders and Katy's recent slit from John Mayer.
Katy was reportedly a shoulder to cry on after K-Stew's cheating was made public, with HollywoodLife quoting a confidant close to the 'Firework' singer as saying: “[Katy's] been checking on him to let him know she’s there for him.”
The pair have supposedly been close for a while, as Rob supported Katy after her divorce from Russell Brand.
However now Rob and Katy were, according to Heatworld, having dinner together at Soho House in Los Angeles yesterday, right after the her break-up with Mayer, could this mean a new phase in their relationship?
Is the timing of their new alleged hook up coincidence, more mutual support, or the pair doing the rom-com thing and realising that all they ever wanted was right in front of them?
What with Katy having a liking for Brits and Rob's love of California Girls, we definitely think there could be something going on, and if there isn't, perhaps their should be!
Katy had better get her rollerskates on however as Rihanna reportedly also wants to get her claws into R-Patz!
