Following the reports that Kim Kardashian is "pushing" Kanye West to become a judge on American Idol, new rumours have spread, claiming that Kim's mum, Kris Jenner is also very keen for Kanye to join the hit US talent show because it could make his and Kim's reported reality TV show a hit.
Despite Kris claiming that Kim and Kanye are too busy to film their own reality TV show, HollywoodLife have claimed that the momager thinks their potential reality TV show could be successful if Kanye joins Mariah Carey on the panel.
An insider claimed: "Kris knows this would do wonders for Kim and Kayne's new reality show and bring in the biggest ratings ever. Their reality show would be on a completely different level."
The site has also reported that Kris has been working with American Idol host Ryan Seacrest to try and seal Kanye's role on the show.
The source continued: "Kris has been working with Ryan Seacrest behind the scenes to make this happen. It was actually Ryan’s idea in the first place and he produces all the Kardashian shows for E! So if [Kanye] became a judge on American Idol, it would be a win-win for everyone!”
Kanye is the latest name to be added to the list that includes Nicki Minaj, Adam Lambert and Nick Jonas, for the role of American Idol judge alongside Mariah Carey.
A rep for Kanye has been approached for comment.
