Sex and the City star Kristin Davis is reportedly no longer in a relationship with West Wing and The Newsroom scribe Aaron Sorkin.
The couple were first linked back in May of this year, but In Touch Weekly now suggests that they have already called time on their fling.
"They're very different people," reasoned a source.
Davis remains "focused" on raising her daughter Gemma, who she adopted in 2011; but will "definitely remain friends" with her ex, according to the report.
Sorkin's Newsroom has been picked up for a second season by HBO, despite middling reviews and viewing figures.
Earlier this year a source had said of their romance: "It's early, but they like each other. They're both busy and get together when they can... they're a good match for each-other."
Davis has previously been linked with Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin and Jeff Goldblum.
