After the recent Jackson family drama episode consisting of a missing persons report, viscious accusations and a temporary guardianship, the children of the late Michael Jackson are about to get some stability in their lives.

At a Los Angeles court on Monday, TJ Jackson, nephew of the King of Pop was permanently granted as the co-guardian alongside his grandmother Katherine Jackson, according to TMZ.

Only a month ago, the 34-tear-old stepped in and was awarded temporary co-guardianship of Prince, Paris and Blanket.

TJ has gotten enormous support from the entire Jackson clan to step in as the secondary guardian – and that includes Katherine herself, along with all three of Michael’s children.

According to the website, TJ has been filling the shoes of the Jackson kids’ real father figure for years.

And the judge told the new co-guardian to be “mindful of the giant rift” that’s been tearing the Jackson family apart – and has asked Michael’s nephew to make sure the kids aren’t negatively affected by it all.

For his co-guardianship, TJ will take over the day-to-day tasks of caring for the kids.

RIP Michael Jackson 1958 - 2009

Michael Joseph Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana on August 29, 1958. He was the seventh child of nine children to Joseph and Katherine Jackson and was born into a typical working class family. The city of Gary is 25 miles from downtown Chicago and is famous for its massive steel industry. It took its name from the chairman of U.S. Steel, Elbert H Gary, and is nicknamed 'City of Century' – we're hoping for ironic reasons. (Image: WENN.com)
