When Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' marriage broke down after just 72 days, Kim had to strenuously deny that she got married for publicity. However a year on and as the Keeping Up With The Kardashians beauty is fighting Kris for a divorce, the basketball player's lawyers have claimed that she did marry Kris for publicity.
According to Cover Media, the court heard Kris' attorney Marshall Waller claiming that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians beauty had "no intention of proceeding with this marriage and that it was basically a contrivance for the benefit of her show and to make money."
With Kris claiming that his marriage to Kimmy was a fraud, the estranged couple are currently battling their divorce out in court, one year after the couple tied the knot and declared their love for each other in a lavish and star-studded ceremony.
It has also been claimed that Kris tried to issue Kim's new beau and rapper Kanye West with a deposition subpoena which was delivered to Kim's house in a Nordstrom box.
Unfortunately for Kim, her divorce who has been battling for a divorce from Kris on what would be her first anniversary with him if they were still married, won't be over for a while as it has been predicted that the estranged couple won't be granted a divorce until next year.
Whilst Kim is fighting Kris in court, insiders have claimed that Kanye would like to film his own reality TV show with Kim because it would be "TV gold."
An insider told HollywoodLife: "Kanye [seems] cool with all this…[he's] all about business, so to him this is just another business venture…He [knows] people will eat that s*** up if he and Kim did a TV show together…He [knows] that would be TV gold and he [isn't] stupid about his paper."
The insider added: “He [has been] filming him and Kim with a little hand [camera[ but I think that's just for fun - you know, making memories. [They'll] be on there f***ing around and talking s***. I think that’s just for fun. I don’t think that’s [going to] be on TV.
“That would be too wild. At the end of the day, [he] is just trying to make Kim happy and himself in the process and make money all along the way".
