Country music star Wynonna Judd’s husband had his left amputed as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident in South Dakota on Saturday.
Michael Scott “Cactus” Moser, Judd’s husband of only two months lost his leg as it was severed and doctors in Rapid City, S.D., had to amputate it above the knee.
"He has also undergone surgery to his hand," Judd’s rep said in a statement. "Judd and Moser appreciate all of the quick medical and police responders as well as the hospital staff and well-wishes from family, friends and fans."
Moser – the drummer of Judd’s band – asked for her hand in marriage on Christmas Eve and he tied the knot with the I Can Only Imagine singer on June 10. This is her third marriage.
Judd and Moser were separately riding on their motorcycles in Deadwood, S.D., before their show when he collided with another car.
