Following the emotional, heart-felt Rihanna interview that was aired last night (August 19) Chris Brown has reportedly text his ex-girlfriend to 'apologize' and 'confess his love to her.' It's about time, Chris!
According to Hollywoodlife.com, the rapper apparently watched the interview last night and it's knocked some sense into him, after watching Ri cry on national television about their drama-filled relationship.
“Afterwards he got some water and was like ‘you know I love her and we’re going to get back [together] one day.’ After that, he sent her a text and thanked her for respecting him on the interview and he told her we was sorry for everything and that he loves her,” a source told the website.
The couple, who broke up in 2009 after Brown assaulted his then girlfriend following a pre-Grammy Awards party were rumoured to have reconnected over the last year, despite the 'Yeah X3' star's relationship with Karrueche Tran.
The 'We Found Love' star broke down as she confessed that she still loved him during the emotional interview filmed recently on her home island of Barbados. Not only does she admit to still being in love with him, she also claims he feels the same way.
“I still love him,” she revealed, according to HollywoodLife. “We’ve built a trust again and that’s it. We love each other and we probably always will,” she added.
When asked if she thought Brown was her “true love” Rihanna replied: “I think he was the love of my life. He was the first love and I see that he loved me the same way. We were very young and very spontaneous. We ran free. We ran wild. We were falling in love going in at a really rapid pace and we forgot about ourselves as individuals.”
