While some stars claim that they are constantly hounded by the paparazzi, Robert Pattinson has revealed that he knew exactly where to hide when news that Kristen Stewart was cheating on him with director Rupert Sanders three weeks ago.
The actor was not seen after pictures of the 22 year-old kissing the married director were published, even though we are pretty sure that every pap in the world was looking for him.
After emerging three weeks later to promote new movie, 'Cosmopolis' the 26 year-old joked that he was hiding in a secret “netherworld” where celebs go to escape attention.
Responding to an interviewer from the Boston Globe, who asked how celebs escape during controversy, Rob said: “There is a netherworld where celebrities go. They’re the only ones that have access to it. A mysterious little network of boroughs."
Well now we know!
In reality it is believed that Rob was hiding out at Reese Witherspoon's Californian ranch. The actor, who starred with the blonde in 'Water For Elephants' was spotted at a nearby bar enjoying a low key night with friends soon after the scandal broke.
The 26 year-old has had to field questions about his private life as he promotes the David Cronenberg drama and has come up with ingenious ways to avoid revealing any details, including talking about cereal and drinking tea!
Kristen appears to still be in hiding and hasn't been seen since the scandal broke. We wonder if she is in the network of boroughs too?
