There's no denying that ever since Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson shot to fame on the X Factor, they've become one of the biggest bands in the world, but there could be a risk that all of that could change after X Factor judges Tulisa and Louis Walsh revealed that there could be a couple of boybands that could rival One Direction.
Speaking to us at the launch of the ninth series of the show, Tulisa spoke of some of the hopefuls who have auditioned this year, saying:
"I don't want to give too much away but there are some good solo males, definitely. Some of them are a little older."
Supporting Tulisa, Louis, king of boybands chimed in: "Definitely, there are two very strong boybands.
"They were really good, I don't know what they're going to show and when."
Nicole, who has claimed that she should take credit for forming One Direction, jokingly called the five lads "little buggers" after revealing that she's still waiting for flowers from them.
According to MSN, the new permanent judge said: "Those little buggers! I haven't received flowers yet from them - I'm waiting!
"It's crazy to see how massive they are - they just performed at the Olympics. It feels like yesterday since we were auditioning them and I was like, 'let's put them together'. It feels wonderful to have had a helping hand in that."
What do you think? Are One Direction set to lose their Pop crowns?
