A survivor of the 'Batman' Massacre in Aurora, Colorada has spoken out against Dave Mustaine of the band Megadeth, who claimed that President Obama orchestrated the shooting.
The singer of the famous thrash metal band, who is an outspoken supporter of firearms, claimed that Obama was responsible for the murders during a gig in Thailand.
''Back in my country, my president is trying to pass a gun ban, so he's staging all of these murders, like the Fast and Furious thing down at the border in Aurora, Colorado."
Carli Richards, who sustained several gunshot wounds when James Holmes opened fire during a midnight screening of The Dark Knight Rises, has spoken out again Mustaine in an interview with TMZ.
After watching footage of Dave's rant, she said "Some people think the President is a good scapegoat but he didn't shoot me."
"It’s obviously kind of absurd and people who make up conspiracies just want attention."
James Holmes was charged with 24 counts of first degree murder, as well as 116 counts of attempted murder and counts of unlawful use of a deadly weapon and possession of an explosive device.
Carli Richards continued: "Everybody is emotional at this time and needs to blame somebody I guess."
"I don’t think they realize the consequences of not being responsible for your own actions and James Holmes needs to be held accountable for his, to whatever way the justice system deems fit."
The Dark Knight Rises has been the biggest film of the summer.
