Taylor Swift is known for dishing the dirt on her former boyfriend in her songs so she certainly had us all guessing who inspired her new track 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.
With exes including Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, Joe Jonas we had a whole list of potential fellas to pick from.
After the twittersphere went mental over potential suspects, Joe Jonas has confirmed that the song is definitely not about him.
"It's not about me, because I don't think we've ever tried another time," he explained to D.C Radio's The Tommy Show.
"I like the song. Taylor does pop music really well, and I'm happy for her."
The break-up song, which has been produced by Max Martin, sees Swift sing about calling it quits with her on-and-off boyfriend.
Although the boy in question is not named, she hints that he's a musician just like her.
"I'm really gonna miss you picking fights. And me, falling for a screaming that I'm right. And you, will hide away and find your piece of mine with some indie record that's much cooler than mine."
Talking about her lyrics, she says, "It's pretty difficult to come up with them because I know that you guys are going to figure it out."
She adds, "I'm really excited about the fact that you guys care about lyrics. Hiding little codes in lyrics is kind of a way of encouraging that."
'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' is available to buy digitally now, while Red is released on October 22.
