Doubts over Charlie's sexuality have been hinted all over this series of TOWIE, but Gemma Collins takes it to the next level and confronts him at Jess Wright’s gig in a good old Essex-esque argument.
Last week Bobby confided in Gemma and admitted that he is in love with her ex, Charlie. In tonight’s episode Gemma suggests to Billie Faiers that something untold happened during the holiday in Marbella. She tells Billie: “You don’t go on holiday with someone and claim your undying love for someone if there weren’t any signals back.”
Gemma also claims that she is “Inspector Cluedo” and that she will get to the bottom of it...
Word that Gemma has been speaking badly of Charlie has got back to him at Jess’ gig and he asks Billie what she’s said about him. Billie denies that she said anything bad but Charlie has heard differently: “I’m just hearing from different people that she’s got a problem with me and I don’t know what it is... she’s going down that road about my sexuality.”
At the end of the evening Charlie is leaving Jess’ gig with Bobby and says to Gemma: “I don’t know why you’re not being nice about me but I won’t have it. I know you’ve been saying crap about me, I’ve heard about it.”
Gemma replies: “Speak to your boyfriend (Bobby) here about it” to which he tells her to: “F*** off, he isn’t my boyfriend.”
She then tells Charlie that Bobby has confided in her and that he had insinuated something: “touchy feely” had happened in Marbella, exaggerating what Bobby had said in last week’s episode.
Gemma denies saying a bad word against him but Charlie demands the truth. Gemma points her finger and shouts at Charlie to: “Never come at me like that again, the pair of you... Go speak to your boyfriend.”
Will Charlie discover his sexuality? Or is Gemma still bitter over an old ex?
