It's only been 48 hours since Big Brother housemate Luke A walked out of the house a winner, and now a whole new host of housemates are set to call the Elstree compound their home as the new series of Celebrity Big Brother has begun.
Speculation surrounding the housemates has been rife but tonight and one by one, host Brian Dowling revealed who would be going into the CBB house.
First up in the house was iconic Coronation Street actress Julie Goodyear, who depite agreeing to going into the house admitted in her VT that she was "not excited and frightened" ot be entering the house. Speaking about how she will get on with her fellow housemates, the actress said:
"I do get on with people providing they're not loud and aggressive."
Up next to enter the house was former Eastenders actress Cheryl Ferguson, who played cheese loving Heather Trott on the soap. Speaking about entering the house, the actress, who opted for a long black dress said: "I don't know if I'll be a great housemate. Hopefully I'll be a happy housemate."
With Julie and Cheryl in the house, it didn't take long for Big Brother to set them a secret task, before the third housemate, Jersey Shore's Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino entered the house. Known for his six pack and way with the ladies, the reality TV star didn't waste any time in revealing that he will be "hooking up with" the "hot" ladies in the house.
Just as Cheryl, Julie and Mike got acquainted with each other, Julian Clary was sent in. Speaking about himself in his VT, the comedian said: "I don't like the sound of people breathing or snoring", before stating that he is planning to have sex in the jacuzzi within 20 minutes of entering the house.
The fifth housemate to enter was Page Three model Rhian Sugden who hit headlines when she was accused of sending messages to married TV presenter Vernon Kay. Insisting that she is intelligent, the model said in her VT: "I'm taking a lot of bikinis for the lads", before claiming that she's not looking for love. She said: "I'm not looking for a romance at the minute but who knows."
With five housemates in, it was time to welcome the sixth housemate, So Solid crew member and ex-husband of Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon. Having seen his former band mate Romeo go into the house in January, Harvey revealed that he was looking forward to going into the house and meeting "nice" people.
Having caused controversy with her article about herself, Samantha Brick was met by a crowd of boos as she walked towards Brian Dowling before heading into the house. Speaking about how she'll react with the housemates, the journalist said: "I think I'll be firm and strict with confrontation."
Next in was was real life royalty, Prince Lorenzo Borghese, who with his gorgeous looks will no doubt interest the ladies. Having appeared on the US version of The Bachelor, the Prince revealed: "I'm not scared of Big Brother before adding that his BB nightmare will be if his housemates aren't nice to him."
As the show went on, model Danica Thrall, Team GB's Ashley McKenzie and outspoken model Jasmine Lennard entered the house. Whilst Coleen admitted in her VT: "I'm really excited about going into Big Brother mixed with feeling sick", whist Jasmine stated: "what you see is what you get".
Former EastEnders actor Martin Kemp was the last celebrity to enter the Big Brother house. Speaking to host Brian Dowling, Martin revealed that he has a plan to win the show.
