So much for Royals wearing pearls and diamonds 24/7 as the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William, along with Prince Harry, are all on Vanity Fair's best-dressed list of 2012. Good work, guys!
The trio, especially Kate, have been praised constantly for their impressive fashion sense and have now been put up there alongside the likes of Colin Firth, Jay-Z and Tom Brady.
Aaah, wonder if we'll be seeing Wills in a 'Jay-Z get up' anytime soon? He may start to take a few more style tips from the rapper in a bid to increase his position on the 'style list' even further next year. What do you think?
The magazine says of the Duchess's style: "The former Kate Middleton is prim, proper, and infuriatingly dazzling, thanks to a year-round tan, bouncing blow-outs, some better version of Bobbi Brown than the rest of us have, and a decidedly un-English smile."
"For big events, the mice and bluebirds put Kate in the best British designers as befits a future queen of England, including Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane, Burberry, and country staple Barbour."
Prince Harry's inclusion came about due to his penchant for linen suits, with Vanity Fair explaining: "Younger brother Harry is the good- time guy to William's comparative reserve--and earned his spot on this year's International Best-Dressed List for his easygoing style, including linen suits, swim trunks, and surfing- ready wet suits."
Linen suits, swim trunks and west suits? Whatever floats your boat...
