Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have been rumoured to be at war over their six-year-old daughter Suri, but now it has been alleged that they are going to put their differences aside for their daughter's first day at school, and take her together.
The Hollywood couple split earlier this year, and RadarOnline has revealed that Tom has made a plan to be able to take Suri to school despite his filming commitments in London.
A source told RadarOnline: "Tom has been filming his latest movie in London but has made plans to be in New York for Suri's first day of school, which will be after Labour Day."
They continued: "Tom and Katie have been speaking on the telephone regarding Suri and Katie has been very supportive of Tom wanting to be there when Suri goes to her new school for the first time."
It was reported following the couple's swift settlement that the 'Batman Begins' actress has primary custody of their daughter, but that Tom will have significant access too.
While Katie has been taking Suri to the zoo and museums, she's been treated to Disneyland and helicopter rides by her dad, proving he wants to play a big role in her life.
"It's a big moment in Suri's life and Katie wants Tom to be a part of that. Of course, there will be security concerns and Tom doesn't want to disrupt other parents and students at the school with his presence, which means he very well could slip in and out via a back entrance. Katie doesn't want Suri to suffer because of their divorce and both parents are truly putting the needs of their little girl ahead of their own feelings."
We previously reported that Katie had enrolled Suri into a New York Catholic school, that boasts an alumni of Lady Gaga as well as members of the Kennedys.
