Michelle Heaton has taken to Twitter to thank her fans for their support following her revelation that she has an 80% risk of developing cancer.
Opening up about her health issues, the star who is mum to six month-old Faith, told OK!: "I have an 80% chance of getting ovarian cancer or breast cancer - and that's on top of everybody else's one-in-three chance.
"I've got to have an operation and we've got some decisions to make - whether I should have a double mastectomy and if I should have my ovaries removed to reduce the risks."
Having got a barrage of well wishes from her fans, the star took to her page to thank them. She wrote: "There is so much love and great advice coming my way from you all.. I really really appreciate it . I promise I do read u all... "
With so much to take in, the former Liberty X star revealed that she will be attending counselling sessions, adding:
"...Some of your stories are heart wrenching and inspirational.. I'm off for counselling today & some advice into the operations. Big love.x"
The revelation that Michelle could be facing a big risk comes after the star was rushed to hospital over the weekend after having a heart scare.
