Britney Spears Was 'Robotic And Out Of It' On Perfume Shoot

A worrying report has emerged suggesting Britney Spears was 'out of it' on a recent commercial shoot for her new fragrance.

RadarOnline.com report that the singer and X Factor USA star appeared distant on the two day shoot for her Fantasy Twist fragrance shoot. An on-set eyewitness has told the website that Brit kept herself apart from the crew, and was smoking non-stop:

"Britney didn't interact with the cast or crew at all during the two day shoot and she seemed to be just going through the motions when the camera was rolling, and seemed out of it,"

"Britney must have smoked at least a pack a day during the two day shoot and was always smoking when not filming."

Whilst she apparently stayed away from the crew Britney kept close to her fiance Jason Trawick:

"Britney was almost robotic in her movements. Britney's fiance, Jason Trawick was along for the shoot and everyone thought at first he was her assistant because she spent so much time huddled up with him when not filming."

The report contrasts with the happy tweets that the popstar posted during the Californian shoot last week. She posted several pics of herself on set, saying:

"Channeling my inner Cleopatra today @ Elizabeth Arden Fantasy Twist shoot. Fragrance is out in Sept. 1st..."

"Loving day 2 of my Elizabeth Arden Fantasy Twist fragrance shoot. Jason says I look like Jean Harlow!"

Whilst the on-set source is quick to diss Britney in the report they do admit that the singer looked pretty hot:

"Britney spent a lot of time in hair and make-up and nervously bit her fingernails and kept smoking throughout. She looked amazing though and her fans will love the commercial."

"Britney did was what asked of her and the end result worked, but the crew wondered why there was such a heightened presence of security. It was just a bit over the top and security even stayed after the shoot to make sure that no one took any pictures of Britney as she left."

Mmm maybe she was just having an off day? After all with her highly anticipated appearance on The X Factor USA debuting in the autumn plus a wedding to plan the superstar must have a lot on her mind!
