It's just another Pink Tuesday in Nicki Minaj land.
The curvaceous blond music star rocked the Today show’s Rockefeller Center studios with a live performance and disregarding her doctor’s orders to rest her voice.
For her performance, the pint-sized singer was clad in a skingtight red catsuit with cascading golden locks, and accompanied by shirtless backup dancers during her live rendition of Starships.
Following her first set of early songs, Minaj, 29, tweeted, “Doctors orders. Out for the count now."
She later added, "Another x-ray cmng up! Its a bruised Vocal Chord. ... Jordin Sparks was praying for me backstage cuz she had a bruised vocal chord too! Haha! We were so dramatic!"
Although, one person on Twitter suggested that Minaj "could make it less obvious that she's lip synching."
Just yesterday, Minaj tweeted that she was going to have to take “two weeks” off to rest her voice, and is still scheduled to appear at this weekend’s V Festival in Britain.
