The run-up to Robert Pattinson's first televised interview post Kristen Stewart's cheating scandal sent the rumour mill into overdrive about whether he would spill the beans on Kristen or not.
As fans tuned into The Daily Show with Jon Stewart they soon found that as much as Jon tried to coax Rob for information - he even gave him a whole tub of ice-cream! - the 'Twilight Saga' actor remained schtum. A move that has been praised by his fans.
Believing that Rob dealt with the interview well, one fan tweeted: "Would just like to praise Robert Pattinson for dealing with his interview on The Daily Show so well after everything he's been through."
Whilst another credited the actor, who was on the show to promote his new film, 'Cosmopolis', saying:
"Yay he handled it with class!:-)"
Happy that the host, Jon Stewart wasn't too hard on him, one fan wrote on the social networking site: "Thought Robert Pattinson acquitted himself quite well on The Daily Show. John Stewart did go easy on him, which was nice."
Rob's interview on The Daily Show even got positive feedback from people who don't like the actor. One fan wrote: "Kinda disliked Robert Pattinson, but after the interview on the Daily Show, he seems like a cool, goofy guy. YOU'RE ALRIGHT IN MY BOOK, BOB."
Another fan added: "I'm not a fan, but Robert Pattinson was actually pretty funny on The Daily Show last night."
One fan on Facebook wrote: "Couldn't have picked a better first venue than The Daily Show W/Jon Stewart. Genius decision ♥ !"
