Kim Kardashian is ready to take her relationship to the next level with Kanye West, and wants to get engaged, according to a new report, so she is pushing for her divorce from Kris Humphries to be finalised quickly.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star married Kris after a whirlwind romance last year, and just 72-days after their lavish ceremony, Kim filed for divorce. But apparently things are different with the 'Power' singer, and Kim "is ready to get engaged" again.
A source has told RadarOnline, that Kim is hoping for third-time lucky with the rapper, but the 31-year-old is growing increasingly frustrated with the lack of progress in her divorce from Kris.
"There is going to be a scheduled status conference on Wednesday for Kim and Kris' divorce. Kris has already been deposed, but Kim hasn't been yet. Kim has told her lawyer that the case is dragging because Kris is determined to keep his name in the press and drag her name through the mud. Kim is ready to get engaged to Kanye, but doesn't want to until her divorce is finalized," the insider told the website.
The reality star, who has headed to Hawaii while Kanye records new music, is likely to give her deposition in the coming month.
"Kim feels that Kanye is the man she is going to spend the rest of her life with, and she doesn't want to wait. Kim's deposition will likely take place in the next few weeks, but she feels nothing is going to be gained by it," the source added.
The Brooklyn Nets star has claimed that their marriage was based on fraud and that he was tricked into marrying the reality star.
If Kris loses at the divorce trial, the basketball star will have to pay Kim's legal fees - and she's pulled out all the stops by hiring Laura Wasser, who has handled cases for the likes of Ryan Reynolds, Heidi Klum and Maria Schriver.
"He will have to pay her legal fees. This doesn't phase Kris at all, as he just signed a very lucrative contract with the Brooklyn Nets," the insider explained.
"Kris is in no rush at all for the divorce to be finalized, he just wants the truth to come out. Kris will see this through to the end, which for him, will be a very public divorce trial, and this isn't about the money. The only way this doesn't go to trial is if Kim admits the marriage was a sham and publicly apologizes to Kris and his family, which she has no intention of doing," the insider tells us."
