After winning a bronze medal at the London Olympic games Team GB hottie Tom Daley is said to be in the party mood so we are sure it's no coincidence that the diver has been joined in London by rumoured girlfriend, US diver Kassidy Cook.
The 17 year-old conveniently arrived just as Tom's commitments to the Olympics finished with the end of the Games on Sunday night (Aug 12) and after missing them herself due to a shoulder injury we are sure that they have lots of catching up to do.
As Kassidy prepared for the trip from Texas she confirmed that she was going to meet her rumoured boyfriend.
Replying to a fan who said they were jealous she was seeing Tom, Kassidy wrote on Twitter: “I'm going to London tomorrow to visit. I'll put in a good word for ya ?”
A few hours later she tweeted: “hello London :)” as she touched down in the capital.
So desperate was Kassidy to see the teen heart-throb, she flew all the way from the US by herself and it seems that Tom is just as keen on her.
According to his close friend and fellow diver Tonia Couch, the Plymouth lad has a thing for girls from the otherside of the pond.
“He likes his American girls. Kassidy and he always see each other when they go away,” she told Heat magazine.
“They buy each other birthday presents because they’re both born in May. They’re not boyfriend-girlfriend but they’re a very hot couple.
As one of the 'faces of the London Games' the 18 year-old was under immense pressure coming into the Olympics but now that he has won a medal, Tonia reckons he could concentrate more on the romance.
She added: "He’s still young for a girlfriend I guess. He’s got so much ahead of him. He’s said to me he doesn’t want a girlfriend till after the Olympics. So, we’ll see. Some lucky girl out there."
We reckon Kassidy might be that lucky girl!
