Michelle Heaton has revealed that she's having an operation later on today after she was rushed to hospital this weekend.
The former Liberty X star is being looked after at Watford General Hospital and she tweeted a pictured of herself being hooked up to the medical equipment.
Michelle, who is mother to daughter Faith, has had a long-term heart problem and she tweeted earlier today that she'll be having a heart recorder fitted after a fairly traumatic night's stay in the hospital.
This morning she wrote: "Bit of a rough night. Not nice hearing the cries of other patients in the ward .. It brings on your own sadness.. Hopefully discharged later".
But, Michelle was then told that she would need a minor operation.
"Thank u for all your lovely comments.. I am having a small operation to fit a 3 year heart recorder this afternoon It's scary but so ..." she wrote. "...grateful to #watfordgeneral #nhs 4looking after me & deciding this is best course of action. I'm sure the operation will b fine Love me."
Writing to her 105,000 followers yesterday, Michelle told them about her on-going health problems.
"As you may or may not know I have suffered from long and scary heart problems over the years. Today it took a turn for the worst.
"I am ok now, I am being kept in over night just 4 monitoring.. #nhs are amazing and have looked after me so well. Thank u #watfordgeneral."
