As the London Olympics draws to a close, The Queen is set to attend a closing ceremony including Gary Barlow, George Michael, London Taxis and of course The Spice Girls!

Her Majesty wowed crowds by joining in the opening ceremony for the Olympic games with James Bond two weeks ago, and if she wants to join in again we can't think of a better way than by becoming the sixth Spice Girl.

However it may mean that Victoria Beckham has to get a new nickname; The Queen would undoubtedly stop her being the poshest member.

Yet sadly it's unlikely that Queen Elizabeth II, who is now 86, will do anything more than look on, possibly with a tear in her eye as Posh, Baby, Ginger, Sporty and Scary help Britain finish its Olympic experience in style.

According to The Daily Mail, organiser Kim Gavin said of the ceremony: "Let's have a party, I don't want anyone to say ''I don't understand this''. 'If I had been doing the opening ceremony I would have had a different approach. We have been so absorbed over the last two weeks, we want something fresh."

The paper quotes Olympics chief Seb Coe as saying that the theme of the ceremony could be summed up in three words, "Party. Party. Party."

As our monarch has got right into the spirit of the games, and we can imagine even though she won't be joining the Spice Girls on stage, she'll be toe tapping along to 'Viva Forever' and be a Spice Girl in spirit.
