After weeks of partying The Wanted took a break from promotional duties in Australia and decided to go for a swim... with some sharks!
While most young fella would be checking out the ladies on the beach or catching up on their sleep Max George persuaded the band to join him to fulfill one of his dreams when he went swimming with sharks in Australia.
"So..... In 2 hours from now I'm gonna be swimming with sharks 4m's long!! Never been so hyped!!", Max said over Twitter before the dive.
Max was quick to point out he was going it alone with the sharks, as his bandmates were apparently too chicken to join him! "Although I'm on my own. None of the others will join me!!Come on lads!!"
It sounds like the public plea worked as Siva, Tom and Jay eventually donned their wetsuits for the experience. Nathan decided to stay on dry land however!
Glad you weren’t wimps lads! "I ended up doing it. Unbelievable experience! X ," wrote Tom after the dive.
Siva added: "Amazing experience with the sharks."
The Wanted are currently back in the studio working on a new album, set for release early next year.
Although there's rumoured rivalry with fellow boyband One Direction, the lads said they'd be more than happy to collaborate with them on the new album.
