With all the stories flying round about Kristen Stewart following her affair with director Rupert Sanders, we are not surprised that a few out there aren't exactly the 'gospel truth' because reports that the actress has pulled out of the London premiere for the 'On The Road' premiere are false because she was never meant to be there in the first place.
The 22-year-old was caught cheating on boyfriend of three years in Los Angeles with the married 41 year-old three weeks ago. (July 17) RadarOnline reported this week that the actress was, "too ashamed to show her face in public" and thought that it would be better to stay out of the spotlight.
Her co-star Tom Sturridge, who just happens to be best friends with Robert Pattinson was another reported reason why she pulled out.
The source claiming: "He's very close to Rob and Kristen thinks it would be awkward for her to promote the movie on the red carpet alongside him."
While the source maybe right that the red carpet would get awkward it seems the actress hasn't pulled out because she was never meant to go in the first place.
'On The Road' insiders confirmed to Entertainmentwise that the actress was never scheduled to attend the premiere even before the affair with Rupert Sanders was revealed.
With the actress currently lying low it looks like we'll have to wait a little longer for her public appearance.
