Big Brother turned all glitz and glamour in tonight’s episode as the housemates took part in the lavish ceremony and presentation of the Nommy Awards.
The, er, prestigious black tie Big Brother awards were presented in turn by the housemates as part of day 65 in Britain’s most famous house.
The first award was all about consistency - the Broken Record award. The winner with seven nominations from Deana was Luke S. He said: “I’d just like to say this award means a lot to me. I couldn’t have done it if Deana didn’t stay in the show. Thank you very much.”
Up next was the Close Shave award. The winner was Luke S again. He said: “I’d just like to say thanks guys for nominating me not quite enough.”
Reserved for the most controversial housemates was the Public Enemy award. This award went to Deana with a massive 31 nominations. She said: “I want to thank my mum, friends and family, but most important, my enemies. Thank you!”
The next award was the Under the Radar award which went to Sara, and Ashleigh and Scott received the Kiss of Death award.
The Hair and Makeup award was next to be presented. The winner was Scott, who said: “Thank you so much. I just love to look fabulous darlings. Fabulous!”
The Special Achievement award for the worst nominator was up next. Sara picked up this award as she took the longest time to nominate housemates for eviction. She said: “Sorry Big Brother and thank you.”
The Nemesis award was the final award to be presented. The winners with four nominations to each other were Luke A and Luke S. Luke A said: “Obviously there is some people you are not meant to get on with, but thank you.” They both thanked each other for being their nemesis and shook hands.
As Luke S won the most awards he chose to take Ashleigh, Sara and Scott to a flash after party where they were treated to a slap-up meal courtesy of Michelin-starred chef Atul Kochhar.
