Robert Pattinson is due to make his first public appearance and conduct his first interview since his girlfriend Kristen Stewart publicly admitted cheating on him.
The 26-year-old star is set to star on Good Morning America next week (August 15) to promote his new movie 'Cosmopolis', but while HollywoodLife have reported that there will be 'no restrictions' on questions, GossipCop has said that it's "not true".
Reports have debated whether Rob, who has shared a very private relationship with Kristen, will touch on the recent scandal where the 22-year-old starlet was seen sharing a steamy moment when they thought no one was looking.
He has remained out of the public eye, but removal vans have been seen leaving the Hollywood home that they once shared.
An insider has told GossipCop that Rob's appearance was scheduled months ago as part of the promotion for the new movie, way before anyone found out about Kristen's affair. As part of his appearance all TV shows have been made aware that Rob will only discuss his movies and not his personal life.
Rob's appearance on the show is not to open up about Kristen, and it's thought to be 'unlikely' that any of the presenters will dare to go there.
"Robert was booked a long time ago to talk about 'Cosmopolis', and working with David Cronenberg - he doesn't talk about his personal life," a source told the website.
Need we remind anyone about Robin Roberts interview with Chris Brown in March 2011? Upon the release of his new album, the R&B singer was pressed about his bust-up with Rihanna, that sent him over the edge and he smashed a window.
Let's hope they don't go too far with Rob...
