Glee star Lea Michele is often hailed for her glowingly gorgeous skin on the red carpet, and has now revealed that she cares more about her skincare routine than ''how she looks,'' and it's a motto that has certainly paid off.
The 25-year-old starlet, who reportedly earns $75,000 per episode, has learnt that it's more about putting the elbow grease into your skincare in order to make it look luminous the natural way on the red carpet.
Lea isn't embarrassed about going make-up free on days when she's not in front of the camera in order to let her skin breathe and give it a break from all of the harsh chemicals she has to wear whilst filming.
She told People magazine: "Maybe I'll put on a little mascara, but other than that I try very hard to just let my skin breathe. I care more about letting my skin breathe than how I look."
Lea reveals that she has a very basic beauty regime, and makes sure she has everything she needs at hand. She said: "I panicked that I forgot face wash on this trip, and I called [my make-up artist] last night freaking out.''
Lea revealed that her favourite skincare brands include Chanel, Dr. Hauschka and Kate Somerville.
The actress also told the publication that she likes to take good care of her luscious brunette locks. She added: "I'm very conscious of taking care of my hair and skin, I'm the girl who goes to bed at night with the face mask, the hair mask.''
''I don't care what I look like when I go to bed; I care about what I look like when I wake up in the morning," Lea continued.
We're glad we're not the only ones that go to bed looking like greasy cucumber monsters!
