Russia has warned of a terrorist threat against Madonna's upcoming 'MDNA' concert in St Petersburg, which is scheduled to take place on August 9.
Madonna's vocal support of Pussy Riot, the group accused of hooliganism on the grounds of religious hatred for their critical song about President Vladimir Putin, appears to have upset quite a few people.
But we never imagined that people would get so upset as to plan a terrorist attack against the 'Girls Gone Wild' singer.
US officials have reportedly received a threat of violence against the audience and performers of Madonna's upcoming 'MDNA' concert, causing officials to issue a warning to all Americans planning on attending the event:
"[Americans must] remain vigilant regarding their personal security and to be aware of their surroundings at all times, especially in crowded areas".
Yikes! We thought that music was supposed to be the food of love, not the grounds for violence.
Madonna, like a trooper, intends to go ahead with the concert as planned. We hope everything runs smoothly and that the threats remain just that: empty threats.
