Having been a part of one of the first TV talent shows on BBC, singer Lemar has given his verdict on ITV1's X Factor and the BBC's latest talent show, The Voice.
Speaking to us about the release of his single and album, we also asked the star what he thought about Simon Cowell's talent show Juggernaut and The Voice, and how it compares to Fame Academy.
The 34 year-old artist said: "I think they are different. I think The Voice and Fame Academy are like two different beasts. (With) Fame Academy we were in there for three months, filmed all the time, writing songs and performing every week and The Voice is more about just the performance."
Speaking about the X Factor, Lemar continued: "The X Factor is more about the lifestyle of someone and a bit of humour as well as some good music."
