With the terrible events of the 'Dark Knight Rises' masssacre still fresh in our minds, police have made yet another arrest after a man was caught trying to smuggle weapons into a late night screening of the Batman film.
According to the folks at TMZ, police in Ohio have arrested a man for attempting to smuggle guns, ammunition and knives into a 10pm showing of the successful Christian Bale and Anne Hathaway film.
Authorities were apparently alerted to the incident after a man tried to bring a satchel into a late night showing of the Batman movie.
"The manager reportedly alerted an off-duty cop who was working security that night ... who searched the bag, found the weapons, and immediately alerted police."
It's awful that people are continuing to hijack Christopher Nolan's final installment to the Batman trilogy and force it to be remembered with sadness and disgust.
Reports suggest that the police later performed a search of the man's home, although it remains unclear if they found anything during the sweep.
