Not content with heading to the Olympic pool and scooping up two golds, three other medals and becoming a worldwide sex symbol, it seems Ryan Lochte is set to become an actor.
The US swimmer revealed on twitter that he'd be making his acting debut alongside Star Trek legend Patrick Stewart, 'Shaun of The Dead' star Simon Pegg and Game of Thrones' Maisie Williams.
Lochte tweeted: "On the set of @funnyordie w/ @simonpegg @maisiewilliams & Patrick Stewart about to do my first acting debut"
He accompanied the tweet with a picture showing himself with the stars.

The unlikely quartet are set to star in a video for the website Funny or Die. Pegg tweeted: "Much fun this morning hanging out with a Knight, an Olympic gold medalist and GoT's @Maisie_Williams. All will be revealed soon. #cryptic"
Their varied attire means it's difficult to judge quite what the video will be, with Williams and Stewart decked out in Victorian garb but Lochte and Pegg were wearing more modern clobber, with Lochte in a Team USA T-shirt and tracksuit bottoms.
No doubt Lochte's legions of female fans will hope that the video will involve the gold medallist appearing as he has done in London for the past week, in his swimming trunks.
But if you thought Ryan Lochte was just a pretty face with an ability to move through chlorinated liquid at great speed, you'd be wroing as it appears the Olympian's talents extend beyond the swimming pool.
