Kristen Stewart has understandably been keeping a low-profile since her affair with married father-of-two Rupert Sanders was exposed last week, but according to reports, she's been begging her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson to meet up in their favourite spot on the Isle of Wight to try and fix their relationship.
The 22-year-old has allegedly asked the actor, who moved out of their Los Angeles home, to meet with her at the place they reportedly once described as “their ideal wedding destination”, so that they can talk and try to save their relationship.
“She wants him to meet her there next week to talk,” a source told Now magazine. “It seems he'll relent – she's still his world.”
Rob and Kristen have been spotted on the Isle of Wight on a number of occasions, having been spotted there in December 2009 as well as the following year when they were seen celebrating New Year's Eve at The Spyglass Inn in Ventnor.
“Kristen thinks that if anywhere will remind Rob of what they had together, it's there. They've shared happy times on the island and even talked at one point about how it'd be their ideal wedding destination.”
Following the pictures emerging on Us Weekly, Kristen released a statement in which she apologised to Rob.
"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me," she told People Magazine. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."
