'The Green Mile' star Michael Clarke Duncan has left intensive care but remains hospitalised in Los Angeles more than three weeks after suffering a heart attack.
The Sacramento Bee reports that publicist Joy Fehily wrote in a brief email statement Monday that the actor "was just moved from the intensive care unit, but remains hospitalized."
Clarke Duncan suffered a heart attack on July 13, with his girlfriend reportedly saved his life by performing CPR and ensuring paramedics arrived promptly.
Fehily added: "His family are firm believers in the power of prayer and have asked that you keep him in yours during this time."
Most famous for his role as a death row inmate with healing powers opposite Tom Hanks in 'The Green Mile', the 54 year-old also starred in 'Armageddon' and 'The Scorpion King'
No further information is available on Clarke Duncan's condition, though having been hospitalised for three weeks, one can only hope that he makes a full recovery.
