Out of all the clubs in all the towns poor Ashley Cole had to party in the one where his ex wife's best mates were hitting the dancefloor!
Cheryl Cole's philandering ex narrowly avoided an awkward run-in with Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh on a recent night out.
As the Chelsea footballer partied at the Rose Club in London this week, his evening was interrupted when Chezza's mates took took their booth just three tables away, reports The Sun.
Apparently Ashley's buddies soon spotted the girls, who were celebrating Kim's sister's birthday, and were quick to warn the player. Luckily for Ashley it sounds like Nic and Kim couldn't have cared less, with a source reporting:
"Fortunately, the girls' group was very tipsy and just concentrating on having a good time."
"Nicola and Kimberley both have long-term boyfriends. That means they weren't heading off round the club trying to find boys to chat to so they didn't realise he was there for a while."
