This year’s summer trends may have been a little worn out by now, but TOWIE girls Lauren Goodger and Lucy Mecklenburgh can’t get enough of the peplum trend.
The pair were spotted out and about in Essex over the weekend on separate occasions, both donning their own take on one of this year’s most popular looks, in the form of tops.
Both girls opted for skinny trousers to team with their peplum tops, Lauren, 25, wearing an all-black outfit featuring studded shoulders, form-fitting black jeans and black studded sandal wedges.
Lauren looked particularly glamorous as she was papped leaving her beauty salon, Lauren’s Way, teaming the sophisticated look with a Chanel bag and her hair done up to the nines in an updo beehive, channelling old school Hollywood glamour with a pair of oversized black shades.

Lucy, meanwhile, was also spotted running errands around Essex with her fiancé Mario, but worked the peplum trend a little more casually.
The TOWIE brunette wore a speckled grey peplum top which accentuated her tiny waist as she paired the look with light blue skinny jeans, black ballet pumps and a grey Prada bag.
Lucy, who usually wears her luscious dark locks in a curly, loose style, scraped her tresses back into a chic ponytail, finishing off the look with some big shades and her sparkling engagement ring.
