Cool grannies are hard to come by, but The Queen pretty much secured the top spot with her cameo appearance alongside James Bond (Daniel Craig) at the opening ceremony of the Olympics, we loved it, and so did her grandsons Princes William and Harry, even if they had been left "in the dark".
Despite details about the Queen's tag team with Daniel Craig for the 007 sketch leaking earlier this year, Prince Harry said that they were "surprised" by their grandmother's hobby of parachuting.
Talking to the BBC, he said: "Both of us were slightly surprised with our grandmother's secret hobby that she had of parachuting, which went down unbelievable well (with viewers)... You don't expect the Queen to do something like that."
Harry, who has been attending many of the Olympic events, continued: "We were kept completely in the dark about it, that's how big the secret was."
