Elton John has never been one to keep opinions to himself but the singer has unleashed a tirade of abuse against Madonna branding her the C word and insisting her career is over. The ‘Rocket Man’ singer was outraged when Madonna accused Lady Gaga, 26. of stealing her song and has let it be known,
The Sun has reported that when asked by an Australian TV show about the ‘Material Girl’ singer 65-year old Elton called her a ‘nightmare’ and admitted he was glad her recent tour was receiving bad reviews.
“Sorry, her career is over," he said. "Her tour has been a disaster and it couldn't happen to a bigger c***.”
“If [she] had any common sense, she would have made a record like Ray of Light and stayed away from the dance stuff," he added.
"[She should have] just been a great pop singer and [made] great pop records, which she does brilliantly.”
“But no... she looks like a f**king fairground stripper. She's been horrible to GaGa.”
53-year old Madge recently described Gaga’s ‘Born This Way’ as a ‘wonderful way to redo my song’ in reference to her tune ‘Express Yourself’.
Clearly Elton was not happy with that comparison!
