When Mike Tyson split from model Robin Givens 20 years ago, Brad Pitt floored him by dating her soon after. Now Tyson admits he's put it all behind him, and would like to work with the actor.
The retired boxer is currently appearing in a one-man show on Broadway, called 'Mike Tyson Undisputed Truth'. Directed by Spike Lee, the nearly two-hour show chronicles Mike's life all the way from childhood and his early boxing career through to his public divorce from Robin Givens and the time he spent in prison.
The show mentions the old incident with Brad Pitt, but Mike insists it's water under the bridge.
After his high-profile split from Robin two decades ago, Mike continued to spend a lot of time with the sexy model. Waiting outside Robin's then home for a potential night of passion, the boxing legend was stunned to see her return home with the movie heartthrob.
Tyson told US chat show host Conan O'Brien: "I went from a hard stallion to a wet noodle.
“As I go to my car she drives up with the handsome Brad Pitt. The first thought I had was: ‘Aw man I ain’t getting’ no p**** tonight!’ "It just totally overwhelmed me. I had no energy to fight."
The Belfast Telegraph confirmed there's no hard feelings, though. Tyson said: "I'm just joking and stuff. I'm not mad at anyone. I hope he gives me a damn job." Spike then chipped in: "He asked for a job."
Mike recently admitted that he only took a cameo role in box office smash hit 'The Hangover' to pay for his drug habit.
Perhaps Brad is just the man to help him get his acting career off the ground!
Pitt's certainly had his fair share of lovely ladies...
