Katy Perry and John Mayer were allegedly spotted holding hands earlier this week, but according to a source the pair "aren't serious".
The 'California Gurls' and the singer were seen at Soho House, and were also papped together leaving Chateau Marmont.
Katy and John were said to have had a little dalliance before Katy found love with now ex-husband Russell Brand, but now the pair have allegedly enjoyed a number of dates.
An insider has told People magazine that they are both happy to take things slowly. "I don't think either of them are trying for anything serious right now. She's not talking like he's 'The One'," the source told the magazine.
Katy, who recently said that she likes to be courted, has said: "She's comfortable around guys who understand the craziness of that world, which he definitely does."
