One Direction Send Fans Wild As They Play Impromptu London Show

Niall Horan and Liam Payne surprise shoppers

One Direction are used to playing in arenas to thousands of screaming fans but last night the lads treated Directioners to something a little more intimate.

Both Niall Horan and Liam Payne played a tiny gig at Westfield in Shepherd's Bush, west London to bemused fans.

The pair showed off their vocal talents and Niall also decided to put his guitar abilities to use to.

Liam and Niall launched into their own version of 'What Makes You Beautiful' while a small crowd gathered around them.

The rest of the band may have been in bed nursing their hangovers after the lads were out in London on Wednesday night (August 1) celebrating their recent record breaking feat.

The lads headed to hotspot Chinawhite with friends and management to let their hair down...and as they left it looked like they'd done just that.

The 'One Thing' boys have now sold more DVD and album sales than any other band in the UK including the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Mumford & Sons, Kasabian, Maccabees, Vaccines and Noel Gallagher’s combined sales.

Their debut album Up All Night and singles have now notched up an incredible 12 million sales in the last year. To celebrate their success, the band were presented with a special disc last night by Syco and Sony Music.
