Tom Cruise is allegedly in talks to purchase George Clooney's stunning Italian holiday home in a desperate bid to find peace following his very public divorce from Katie Holmes.
The Sun newspaper reports that the Top Gun actor is meeting up with Clooney in order to "strike a deal" on the property.
Cruise has reportedly been 'eyeing up' a magnificent medieval castle 100 miles north of Rome, which could serve as the perfect place to reflect on his turbulent personal life.
But George Clooney is apparently adamant that the troubled star should move into his beautiful property on the shores of Lake Como, known as Villa Oleandra.
The Ocean's Eleven actor is reportedly looking to switch his holiday home to Salerno in the south of Italy, because girlfriend Stacy Keibler is not a fan of the lakes near Milan. Poor thing!
'Mission Impossible' star Cruise has also been rumoured to be searching for a home in New York to be closer to his daughter Suri.
Oh to be a fly on the wall in that house, before or after it's sold!
