Davina McCall is mourning the loss of her half sister Caroline who lost her battle with cancer yesterday (August 1).
Taking to Twitter to tell her followers of her terrible loss, the Million Pound Drop presenter, posted:
"My beautiful brave sister Caroline (@madfroggy) lost her fight against cancer today.My heart hurts so much."
Having received condolences from her followers, Davina tweeted later: "Thank you for your kind messages... Xx", before posting a picture of Caroline, with the caption:
"My amazing sister."
Upon hearing the news, former Spice Girl, Emma Bunton tweeted Davina: "I am so sorry to hear this, thinking of you and your family at such a sad time. Sending you lots of hugs (sic)"
Former Big Brother housemate and Davina's replacement as host of the show, Brian Dowling tweeted: "So sorry to hear that,sending lots of Big Brother love your way!!xx", to which Davina replied:
"@brianofficial she never missed one single episode. She loved you."
