Daughter of Demi Moore and Bruce Willis, Scout Willis, has avoided jail after receiving two days of community service for drinking in public and criminal impersonation.
The 21 year-old, who was 20 at the time of the offence was reportedly spotted drinking “Pakistani beer” in Union Square, subway station in New York.
According to the New York Post the Brown University student showed a fake ID with the name 'Katherine Kelly' when approached by police, but later admitted who she actually was. She was charged with drinking in public and criminal impersonation which are both misdemeanours under US Law.
The charges will reportedly be dropped after six months if she does not have any further run-ins with the law and completes her community service hours. Managing to avoid jail time and a criminal record.
Earlier the case was petitioned to be dropped after her father, Bruce's lawyers claimed that she could not be drinking an eight ounce 'Pakistani beer' because there is none exported to the US.
According to The Mirror lawyer Stacey Richman claimed: "There is only one Pakistani brewery and it is not permitted to export beer products from Pakistan.
"I'm requesting the DA let me inspect this so-called eight ounce Pakistani beer can. I don't know whether they have it. I don't know whether it's beer. I don't know whether it's Sprite."
After examining the reported beer can the student accepted her sentencing for the crime. It has been a difficult few months for the Willis family. Scout and her sisters Rumer and Tallulah are said to be distancing themselves from mother Demi as she struggles to come to terms with her break up with Ashton Kutcher.
The star hit rock bottom earlier this year when she collapsed at her Beverly Hills home and was taken to hospital, she later entered rehab for a month but according to sources isn't doing great.
Her daughters are said to be giving themselves some space after too much “Demi drama.”
