Kanye West has been convinced by his Watch The Throne partner to let his songs be featured in the NBA 2K13 soundtrack, which will also feature Jay-Z's own music.
Jay-Z is the game's executive producer and has convinced several massive artists to let their songs be featured in the game. Kanye's 'Mercy' and 'Amazing' will be featured along with Nas' 'The World Is Yours' and U2's 'Elevation.
The soundtrack will also include some of Jigga's own music, such as 'Run This Town', and alongside this already stella roster Coldplay, Daft Punk, P.Diddy and Santigold are also letting their music be used.
Jason Argent, vice-president of marketing for 2k Sport (who is making the game), said: "I'm not sure if they've ever been in a video game."
The rapper has apparently taken his role as executive producer extremely seriously, Argent stated:"Jay is completely obsessed with authenticity!
“So right off the bat, he said 'Look, I love this franchise and I love this game, but if you want me to be involved, I need to be truly involved. I want to actually help make this game."
He added: "I think the final product will reflect that level of excitement that he had."
The game will be released in America on October 2, with a UK release scheduled for soon after. It will be available on all gaming platforms.
Meanwhile, Kanye's second collaborative album is due to be released in September.
